Hello to you all, I am coming to you with all the details for this month’s Picture Book Club. This time, we will be discussing "The Little Wooden Robot and the Log Princess" by Tom Gould.
Forgive me for the brevity of this post, but as you know, I got back from Bologna just over a week ago, and I spent the weekend painting a window for my Rewilding book, and so I am playing catch up a little bit!
Here are all the details you need to attend:
You need to be a paid subscriber to attend Picture Book Club. You can join for £4.50 per month, or £45 per year. That is like having one fancy coffee per month, and for that, as well as access to Picture Book Club, you can come to my Art Club meet-up, and get access to my full back catalogue of videos!
When: Tomorrow (Weds 24th April) at 8pm
Where: Zoom. Link for subscribers below.
Here are some questions to think about before attending, and I will use these as prompts during the session:
How does the use of color contribute to the mood and atmosphere of the book?
How does the book's design impact the storytelling, pacing, and rhythm?
How effective is the use of page turns in the book?
