Here is the replay for Motivation Monthly, with this month’s post telling you all about it, below:
Although I am a summer girl through and through, I love autumn, despite the fact it marks the end of summer. Everything smells earthy and damp (in a good way), little magical fluffs float in dappled beams of light, the air is still warm in the day, but cool at night, and the days get shorter, so you can catch the sunset, the misty mornings, but not too short. Plus - the colours! I love the changing of the trees, and there’s nothing more exciting when all the trees are flaming with different shades of burgundy, peaches and all the yellows! And blackberry and apple crumble with custard - yes please!!

I don’t know about you, but this time of year always gives me the urge to do a bit of a mid-year contemplation. I guess it reminds me of returning to school at the end of the summer way back when. There’s something about the new notebook, sharpen-your-pencils, new shoes feeling that gets me all reflective. Last year I ran a Back-to-School Creative Re-set - a month-long course designed to help you reflect on the year so far and set some intentions for the year ahead. I really enjoyed it, and I have been extremely tempted to run it again this year, but I am so busy with the books and teaching so I have accepted I am too busy.
But…
I thought why not make this Motivation Monthly a special Back-to-School mini Re-Set? So I have created a worksheet based loosely on some of the questions from the Re-Set, and I thought it would be fun for us to do it together for this month’s Motivation Monthly session. It is attached below for paid subscribers.
I also have a video for you to watch, and an accompanying worksheet about using three “Rocks” to set goals. I find it is a brilliant way to set goals that are easy to remember and follow through on. I’ve been using it for the past few years and it has genuinely helped me! I have literally transformed my relationship with winter by setting “rocks” that helped me get through the last winter positively!
