Autumn Special Worksheet
My Three Rocks video with a mini animation I made explaining how the system works
A Daily/regular check-in worksheet designed to work with your 3 Rocks goals, for those of you who want something to help you stay accountable.
I hope you enjoy the replay. It’s just what I needed last week, and I feel like I have designed a Winter Plan that will be super helpful.

Hello! It’s nearly mid-November already - where does the time go?
As we’re doing Motivation Monthly nearly halfway through the month, I thought we could use this session for a bit of a seasonal review. I have designed some questions for us to ask ourselves to take stock of how the autumn has been and what we want to bring with us into winter.
I don’t know about you, but I find winter can be tough. I definitely get affected by seasonal affective disorder, and I find that I can end up feeling quite low by the time spring comes. However, last winter I devised a plan using the 3 Rocks system, that I use to set goals in Motivation Monthly, and it radically changed how I’m feeling in the lead-up to this winter. I have actually found myself looking forward to a bit of winter hibernation!
So these last few weeks I have been thinking through how I am going to set my winter goals up. I’m thinking the main focus will be health, as I feel a bit battered by Covid, and I still think I feel the effects of having a hysterectomy last year.
What is Motivation Monthly I hear you ask?
I don’t know about you, but I love a chance to set goals and dream up new ideas and exciting plans. I also think it is really helpful to take time to reflect on what I have done, and not always be in “go” mode. Although I am a creative, messy, often chaotic artist, in a slightly out-of-character way, I also love writing a list and checking things off.
I have designed Motivation Monthly to help carve out some time to nurture and tend to your creative self. It’s an hour-long session on Zoom.
This month’s agenda:
Ta-da list - this week we will do a big one to look over the whole season (Sep-Nov) What is a ta-ta list I hear you ask? Well, it is a list of all the things you have already done! Like reading off a to-do list where you have already ticked all the items off! I find this is a really affirming way of reflecting on how you have spent your time, and everyone who takes part invariably ends up feeling proud of the things they have done. It’s like a big pat on the back!
Goal setting - this week I want us to set goals for the whole of the next season: Winter/Dec-Feb. This is an action plan for how you will survive and thrive this winter. Think of yourself as a squirrel getting all your nuts gathered, all the leaves nice and cosy, and finding a nice safe spot from predators. So we will begin by reflecting on the last season; thinking about what we want to harvest from the autumn, and what we want to bring with us into the winter and then we will make an excellent winter plan, with 3 “Rocks” to help you stick with it all season!
side note: If you have been coming to MM for a while and have a goal you are still working towards, it’s fine to keep that one running alongside your winter plan if you want
