Your October illustration prompt (part two)

Time to 'filter'

Hello! Sorry this is coming to you so late in the week. Yesterday, I gave my first proper lecture. As you may know, I’ve been working as an Associate Lecturer on the MA at the Cambridge School of Art on the Children’s Book Illustration MA, and so far I have done quite a few talks about my work, but they were in the classroom, with one set of students at a time. This was in the lecture theatre with I guess 6 classes all together!! I actually wasn’t too nervous giving the talk - I know all the students well now, and it was really nice to see all their smiling faces as I looked out at them! But the prep for it was something else! When I said yes, I underestimated quite how much time it would add to my already busy schedule.

Anyway… all that to say I have been in single-task mode, and I have neglected not only this, but many other things. I will be in catch-up mode for the next few weeks now!
